When we undertake a collection with FREE estimate repair request we will arrange to have your machine collected via one of our own vans from any of the postcode areas above usually within 48 hours of you calling us. We can arrange collections from other areas using our national courier service. Your machine will be delivered to our workshops where our fully trained engineers will evaluate your machine and provide a FREE estimate as to the likely cost of the repair. This estimate will include all labour charges, parts and the cost to return the machine back to you when it has been repaired. We will not proceed with any work until the estimate has been approved by you. If you do not wish to proceed with the repair we can either arrange for the disposal of the machine or return it to you for a small carriage charge totally at your discretion. From collection to return back to you typically takes 7-10 working days but external factors such as waiting for parts from our suppliers or manufacturers can sometimes make this longer.
We have developed the Pressure Washer Fixed Price Repair for those of our customers that want a really easy way to have their machine repaired for a fixed price. You may be thinking that this is not entirely a new concept and you would be right! A lot of repairers offer a fixed price repair option however where Hutchings Direct are different is that we don't believe in "throwing good money after bad" by which we mean that we would never knowingly repair a machine that we honestly thought should not be repaired as it could prove to be unreliable a few months down the road.So here's our solution: Hutchings Direct will deduct the collection fee of £15.00, but you are then able to use the balance that you paid for your fixed price repair against buying a new machine from our website!
As Hutchings Direct is an approved Kärcher Center, we can offer private home users warranty repairs on all Karcher Home & Garden range products that have a Karcher End-User Warranty of 2, 3 or 5 years that start from the date of your initial purchase, depending on machine and model. This Karcher Warranty covers material and manufacturing defects. All you need is a valid proof of purchase such as an online receipt, till receipt, bank statement or credit card statement detailing the purchase and we can do the rest.
Hutchings Direct can offer this Karcher Warranty Repair Service to machines that have been purchased another vendor such as Amazon, B&Q, Homebase, Argos, Screwfix, John Lewis or other online or high street retailers
All repairs to Kärcher products within their warranty period are undertaken free of charge. If you need to have your machine collected/returned to you we can arrange this, however this is not covered under the warranty so unfortunately we have to charge for this.
